relevant technical experience with one year of professional GIS/web application development experience.
• Proficient with Esri ArcGIS Web Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software Development Kits (SDKs) and a strong understanding of GIS and database fundamentals.
• Familiarity with the Esri ArcGIS product suite and ArcGIS Server service design and management; knowledge of GIS-relevant programming and scripting methods.
• Data experience, including a strong knowledge of database design concepts and the ability to write SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
• The ability to implement, modify, and support vendor supplied software solutions
• Experience working effectively in a team environment
• Enthusiasm for Story-Driven Agile Development/Processes e.g. SCRUM
• Attention to detail with a strong interest in automating workflows
Desired knowledge and experience
• Masters’ in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, Cartography, or a related field with two (2) years of technically responsible experience using ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online/Portal and ArcGIS Server. Two (2) years of applicable GIS experience may be substituted for each year of required education
• A certificate is ArcGIS is highly desirable
• Additional experience in MS Office, SQL Server, relational database design/administration , Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Professional, is a plus
• Experience with TFS, JIRA or a similar ticket tracking system for development
• HTML5 or CSS a plus
• 3-5 years’ experience with Trillium application
• 3-5 Experience with Portal for Arc GIS
