  • Expert level knowledge of Magento’s code structure, extension architecture, theming, hierarchy, and fallback components
  • Experience in Magento Extension development - Magento 1 / Magento 2 experience is required
  • Extensive experience of PHP and MySQL
  • Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards
  • Solid understanding of Magento caching and session storage options at scale (Redis, Memcached, Varnish) required
  • Experience with Magento 2 EE distributed across multiple databases preferred
  • Develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications & web sites
  • Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications.
  • Participate in project & deployment planning.
  • Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
