•       Responsible for business requirements gathering, documentation, and communication of requirements to the design & build teams.

•       Elicits business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, and use cases, scenarios.

•       Translates high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by the design/build team, including offshore developers.

 

• Testing: Establish and execute procedures that confirm that all features and functions of the search platform meet or exceed defined quality levels and business user’s expectations. Testing to focus on the entire solution: functional, integration, performance and environmental testing.

 

• User Experience: Monitor the service and recommend and provide specifications for feature or relevancy enhancements that improve user effectiveness. Test feature designs using appropriate usability and relevancy testing techniques.

 

• Release Management: Facilitate the release process to ensure new functionality is delivered according to plan. Coordinate changes with development teams, infrastructure services (i.e. Server, Network, Security) to ensure an effective transition to operations. Ensure solution is stable and that all operations assurance criteria are met prior to deployment.

 

• Security and Compliance: responsible to ensure that environments operate within established Corporate security and control standards and best practices.

 

• Search Analytics and Support: Provides expected levels of search analytics and support which may include: examining user search behaviors and recommending relevancy and user interface improvements, processing service requests or support questions and incidents, investigating & diagnosing (root cause analysis) incidents, and proactive detection of search service issues.

 

• Training: Develops end-user documentation and training.

 

• Business Interaction: Builds and maintains strong working relationships with business partners. Meets regularly with key business partners to understand their business problems and propose solutions to their information access issues.

 

 

Position Requirements:

•       8-10+ years BA experience required.

•       Strong communication skills required.

•       User test/User case experience

•       SharePoint experience – fluent in working as a Power User experience

o       Basic knowledge of site creation/development

o       SharePoint Cloud/Online utilization experience required

•       Quality Assessment and Documentation Experience required

•       Agile experience preferred

•       Previous Enterprise company experience highly preferred

•       Previous Chevron experience preferred

•       Experience training end-users preferred
